Digital X-Rays
Digital X-Rays store data in digital format, allowing your files to be pulled up easily at the chair during your dental appointment. This gives both you and your dentist a better idea of your oral health.
Why use digital x-rays?
Digital x-rays provide an extremely accurate picture of your whole mouth. They make it possible to enlarge specific areas, which can help the dentist better understand your oral health needs. With digital x-rays, we are able to detect problems earlier, which can prevent issues from getting worse.
Are digital x-rays safe?
While digital x-rays produce a small amount of radiation, these levels are substantially lower than in traditional x-rays, and are considered completely safe.
Our team will take every precaution and answer all your questions, so that you feel at ease during your x-ray.
How often do you need an x-ray?
We'll let you know if you need an x-ray during your next appointment. Depending on the condition of your teeth and your oral health needs, you may need an x-ray every six months, or only yearly, or even every couple of years.
